Your success depends on how you navigate stressful situations, your ability to re-center and pivot in the face of the unexpected, and your overall health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, most grant-making institutions overlook the needs of the women behind the businesses they invest in.
Women Funding Women is a 501(c)3 determined to invest in the minds, bodies, and businesses of American entrepreneurial women because we believe in the power of wholeness.

Why we're here...
Funding
We've decided to become the solution to a problem that shouldn't exist. Women entrepreneurs have proven their ability to achieve greatness and maximize ROI time and time again. We will prove that that same determination, multiplied by a community of women, will do more than just move mountains. It will change life as women entrepreneurs live it by making capital and other resources more accessible as well as producing a growing population of collaboration-minded women who give and grow together.
Wellness
As we catapult our tribe closer to their goals, we're also doing our part to ensure the woman behind the business is emotionally and mentally prepared to take over the world. Unlike traditional funding sources, Women Funding Women covers the cost for a host of mental and emotional wellness expenses including but not limited to therapy.
Investing
It's important to put women in positions of power if we want to see positive change that matters to women. The role of investor is crucial to the funding process and one of the issues we're facing is a lack of women investors. In response to the lack of women investors, Women Funding Women has created a unique and interactive grant process that allows our community of women entrepreneurs to have a say in who receives funding. After all, if it weren't for them...there would be no us. Every woman in business who donates, joins, speaks, sponsors, or otherwise gets involved in our mission is given a voice.
Community
Being apart of a community that shares freely and supports whole-heartedly will not only change the way you own your business but the way you live your life. Our "pay it forward" mentality is applied to everything we do from grants to events to make sure every woman within our community is willing to give as good as she'll get by joining us on our journey to collective and individual success.
Research shows that one of the leading issues faced by women entrepreneurs in the US is gaining access to funding. According to techcrunch.com, only 2.2% of all venture capital in the US is awarded to female founders. This is despite the fact that "...women-owned businesses continue to fuel the economy and now represent 42% of all businesses, employing 9.4 million workers and generating revenue of $1.9 trillion.", according to Business Wire.

Our Mission
Women Funding Women will support and empower American women entrepreneurs by establishing, sustaining, and scaling a consistent funding force that will support their ambitions, and encourage their pursuit of mental and emotional health, while getting them involved in the change. It is our mission to provide holistic grants that cover traditional, educational, and business expenses as well as wellness and advancement related expenses such as therapy, coaching, licensing, and certifications to ensure our recipients are given all they need to thrive. Not only as business owners - but as women.
We are creating a community for women entrepreneurs that is rich in opportunity. We aim to improve the entrepreneurial experiences of women in America.
