Women Funding Women is gearing up to award their very first Inspired Women Community Grant (IWCG) and we couldn't be happier to share!
The founder of Her Hustle Magazine is also the President and CEO of Women Funding Women and if you've been around for a while you know that she created HHM to be a platform for the organization's mission and the community they serve. You. Women entrepreneurs.
What you may not know is that while Tiffany is a Founder/CEO, author, and mother, she overcomes anxiety and depression daily to show up in a big way for her community. Her motivation...Y.O.U.
In every interview she's done, she's been authentic and transparent about her personal struggles with mild depression and high functioning anxiety. While it hasn't been easy unlearning ugly habits like focusing on what people see and think of you as opposed to how you feel about yourself, She has taken a huge and necessary leap to not only beat the issue on a personal level, but on a national level.
"It important for me to be a Black women who is going up against the learned helplessness sometimes promoted in our culture and community when it comes to mental and emotional health. I want women in general to be motivated by my story. However, it's vital for me to show women of color that self care is self-preservation. Therapy doesn't make you crazy. Healing and working through your issues is just as necessary (if not more) than as having the best software and equipment.
Because of this, Tiffany and the Board of Directors behind Women Funding Women are offering holistic grants to America's ambitious women that cover the cost of therapy, coaching, private health instruction like Yoga and meditation and much more. From one woman being true to her experience and deciding to the change she wanted to see came one of the only 501(c)3 organizations in America who invests in the mind, bodies, and businesses of women.
We share this story with you in hopes that someone who is in a mental/emotional battle with themselves finds hope and strength from the story of a woman we admire so much. Knowing Tiffany personally makes it evident that you never really know who is fighting personal battles. It also makes it necessary to invest in women like Tiffany who could change the world if they only believe that they could.
SIGN UP FOR THE INSPIRED WOMEN COMMUNITY GRANT BEFORE MARCH 1st TO BE CONSIDERED.
